Incoming press secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles on Monday said there is still “no information” yet on when president president-elect Bongbong Marcos would submit his Statement of Contribution and Expenditures (SoCE) in the 2022 elections.,“We have no information on the President-elect. After all, we still have two days to go, so it’s early. We’ll let you know if ever,” Angeles told the press in a media briefing.,The deadline for the submission of SoCE to the Campaign Finance Office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) is on 8 June.,Marcos’s party — Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) — earlier said it spent P272 million for his presidential campaign.,PFP General Counsel George Briones said in a statement that their campaign spending was below the maximum expenditure of P337 allowed under the law for a national political party.,The party declined to give a copy of their SoCE to reporters.,Candidates who may fail to submit their SoCE may face perpetual disqualification from holding any public office.,To date, only Senator Panfilo Lacson and doctor Jose Montemayor are the only presidential candidates who have submitted their SoCE while none of the nine vice presidential candidates have done so.
